Update - March 18, 2011

The past few week have been really crazy.  Between work, the play, ministry, etc....I have been swamped (and exhausted, too!).

SO, here's the update, for those who may want to know....

--Purim play is THIS Sunday!  AH!  Oh, and I am playing Zeresh (Haman's wife), Esther, AND a walk-on role called Bimbo (lol).

--I moved into my new casa in Fountain Valley, CA, at the beginning of February.  I am still moving in and unpacking (because I haven't had much time to just sit and do it), but it's nice to have a pretty purple room all to myself with all of my things in it. :)

--I am working back at my old Starbucks (Drive-Thru on Irvine Center Drive and Sand Canyon in Irvine, CA). It's a much better environment to work in, and although it's even busier than before, I feel like I can grow and won't be dying everyday. :D  Everyone is positive, and there are actually more believers at my store now!  But regardless of beliefs, the whole team is pretty bomb.  :)  I discovered, however, that I can still get migraines (I didn't get any at IHOP...maybe once).  So, please pray that the Lord gives me some more tools to keep my stress level down and focusing on Him so I can do my job well and serve customers with love.

--I am going to the IHOP-KC Onething Regional in Pasadena, CA this weekend (actually today!).  I am really excited!  I really need some refreshing right now.  I miss Cory Asbury sets and Matt Gilman....but they'll be here! Yessss. :D  Good thing is that almost my whole youth group AND their parents are coming too!  Holy Spirit come!  And, I'll get to see Christina Ho for the first time since December 21st, when we graduated!  I miss her (and allllll my Core Group peeps!).

--The Southwest Regional Conference went really well this year.  The team did an excellent job.  The Lord really broke into my heart through my own dance....haha.  Funny how the Lord knows exactly where I'm going to be before I do.  On top of that, things that never clicked in the dance during rehearsals were practically flawless during the actual performance.  :)  We got a lot of awesome reviews...people wanted us to come back (our exit was going down the aisle, out the back) instead of exiting, lol.  We met Jordan Elias (the artist of the song) and his beautiful wife (she's gorgeous!!!!) and they were both very humble and gracious.  :) The Lord really worked through our weak yes and I heard some pretty cool testimonies afterwards.  When we were weak, then we were strong...because of His grace and mercy and love.  He's a good God and works through weak and broken people.  I felt that the Lord was pleased with all of the dances at the Southwest Regional.  Each group came with something different to express, and the Lord really used the strengths of each team to bring out His will and desire.  I was really moved by all of the dances and I know the Lord was.  The angels were rejoicing with us!  :D

--For the future:  I am STILL coming back to IHOP.  The longer I stay away, the more and more I feel I'm supposed to come back.  I'm not sure when exactly....but if certain things end up a certain way, it may be relatively soon (possibly in 2011).  This is the season to give out.  I took a deep breath in for 6 months and am now in my third month of giving out.  I love giving out, but there are so many things that I barely scratched the surface on when I was in the internship.  There's still so much healing that needs to take place, and I need to continue my path to wholeness in Jesus.  Plus, I miss the Prayer Room like CRAZY!!!!! I miss Traci, Lauren, Joy, Angela, Brianna, Bethany, Rachelle, etc....and Lisa and Christina too..but they're in CA with me!

Anyway, it feels so good to blog a little!  FINALLY!  I am looking forward to good things in the coming months, and I know the Lord has a good plan for me.  Come to the play on Sunday!  You will be surprised by it (and me).  Love you all!

"For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish.  Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"  Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai: "Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day.  My maids and I will fast likewise.  And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!"           -Esther 4:14-16 (NKJV)
